The Bharmaur Unit of the Pensioners’ Welfare Association is set to convene on June 16, 2026, at 11 AM at the Chaurasi Hotel in Bharmaur. This meeting will be presided over by Unit President Dheeraj Thakur.

Attendees will receive updates on state-level initiatives affecting pensioners. Significant topics for discussion will include delayed payments for retirees dating back to 2016, a 15% Dearness Relief, and unresolved arrears. Resolutions regarding these issues will be drafted and sent to the Himachal Pradesh Government.

General Secretary Krishna Thakur mentioned that the agenda will also cover various challenges faced by pensioners, with a focus on finding solutions. Local concerns will be prioritized during the discussions.
