Disturbing Discovery in Agra

A startling incident has emerged from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, where authorities have uncovered an international conversion syndicate. This network has been linked to terrorist groups such as ISIS and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The investigation began when a Hindu girl returned from Kashmir, exhibiting drastic changes in her behavior. She started wearing a hijab and began making strange remarks about Hindu deities.

‘Describing Lord Ganesha as the deity with an elephant trunk’

The case traces back to March 24, when two sisters were reported missing from the Sadar Bazaar police station in Agra. Investigations revealed that the elder sister had previously gone missing. Her family reported that she was pursuing a PhD after completing her MPhil and had vanished four years ago, eventually reaching Kashmir. During this time, she met a woman named Sayma, who influenced her towards Islam and encouraged her to travel to Kashmir.

Fortunately, a landslide on the way allowed the police to rescue her in time and return her home. However, upon her return from Kashmir, her demeanor had completely changed. Her family noted that before her trip, she observed the Navratri fast and had faith in Hindu deities. After returning, she began discussing the need for a veil and started wearing a hijab. Alarmingly, she began to insult Lord Ganesha by referring to him as the 'deity with an elephant trunk' and labeled idol worship as 'idolatry'.

Concerned for four years, the family kept a close watch on their daughter, even restricting her from going outside. Yet, on March 24, 2025, she fled again with her 19-year-old sister. Both were later found in Kolkata.

Unraveling a Conversion Network Linked to Terrorism

A joint investigation by the UP police and ATS has revealed a deeper conspiracy behind this conversion network. This syndicate, connected to ISIS and Lashkar-e-Taiba, was reportedly receiving millions in funding from abroad. The money was funneled from countries like the UAE, Canada, London, and the USA to India in a manner designed to evade detection.

Ayesha, also known as SB Krishna from Goa, was identified as the fund manager for this network. Her husband, Shekhar Roy alias Hasan Ali, managed legal processes and forged documents from Kolkata. Manoj, also known as Mustafa, was arrested in Delhi for providing girls with new mobile phones and fake SIM cards, facilitating their movement by bus instead of trains to avoid capture. Individuals like Abdul Rahman Qureshi from Agra and Osama from Kolkata promoted Islamic extremism on platforms like YouTube and other social media, spreading propaganda against Hinduism. They posted videos showing worship of PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath, claiming that idol worship is 'haram' in Islam.
