A family of bears visits the Chandi Devi Temple daily, captivating visitors with their presence. Reports indicate that this temple has a history of around 150 years. Inside, there is a beautifully crafted natural idol of Goddess Chandi. Visitors come not only to receive blessings but also to catch a glimpse of the bears.


People often wait for hours for the bears to arrive at the temple. According to the temple priest, the bears typically appear during the evening aarti, joining in the worship of the goddess. Remarkably, these bears participate in the aarti and, after the rituals, leave peacefully with the prasad, returning to their forest home without causing any harm.
