A Remarkable Case from Uttar Pradesh

A fascinating incident has emerged from Uttar Pradesh, where two young women have insisted on marrying each other. The situation escalated to the point where their families convened a local council to address the issue. According to reports, a girl from the Didoli police jurisdiction fell in love with another girl from the Gajraula area, leading them to decide to marry. However, upon learning about their relationship, their families objected and refused to support their marriage.

On Wednesday, both families gathered relatives for a council meeting in an attempt to persuade the girls to reconsider their decision. The 20-year-old girl from Didoli had previously visited her relatives in a village within the Gajraula police area, where she met the other girl. They developed a friendship and frequently stayed at each other's homes over the past two years, without raising any suspicions among their families. Recently, however, they announced their intention to marry, shocking their relatives.

On Wednesday morning, the girl from Gajraula visited her friend in Didoli, and after a lengthy discussion, they informed their families about their love and desire to marry. This revelation caused distress among their relatives, who attempted to convince them otherwise. Despite their efforts, the girls remained resolute and even began to create a scene. Eventually, both families held a council meeting where the situation was explained to the attendees. After considerable effort, the council managed to calm the girls down, and the family from Gajraula took their daughter home. Neither family has filed a police complaint regarding the matter, and Inspector Ajay Kumar has denied any knowledge of the case.
