Clarification on Lockdown Rumors

He emphasized that the central government is not considering any such measures in light of the escalating crisis in the Middle East. Puri took to social media to assert that these lockdown rumors in India are entirely false. He stated, 'I want to make it clear that there is no proposal under consideration by the Government of India.' During these times, it is crucial for us to remain calm, responsible, and united.
The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has led to chaos at several petrol stations due to the closure of the Hormuz Strait, which in turn has sparked rumors of a nationwide lockdown due to a shortage of LPG cylinders.
