Union Minister and Cricketer Attend Sacred Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav participated in the Bhasma Aarti at the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. Both expressed their spiritual satisfaction and joy during the ceremony. Spiritual Gathering at Mahakaleshwar Temple

On Friday morning, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and renowned Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav participated in the Bhasma Aarti ceremony at the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, a revered site for devotees.


The Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is celebrated as one of India's most significant Shiva temples, attracting pilgrims from across the nation.


Pradhan shared his feelings of spiritual contentment after the ceremony, stating, "Attending the Bhasma Aarti on the first day of Vaisakh was a privilege. I always feel deeply fulfilled during my visits to Mahakal."


Yadav echoed similar sentiments, expressing his joy after the prayers and hoping for Lord Mahakal's continued blessings. He remarked, "It was a wonderful experience, and I truly enjoyed it. May Lord Mahakal's blessings be with us, Jai Shri Mahakal."


Umesh Yadav's Impressive Cricket Journey

Umesh Yadav made his international debut in 2010 and has played across all formats for India. Throughout his career, he has participated in 141 international matches, claiming 288 wickets with an impressive average of 31.62 and a best bowling performance of 6/88.


He has achieved three five-wicket hauls and even a ten-wicket match in his career, showcasing his skills as a key player.


In his Test career, Yadav has taken 170 wickets in 57 matches at an average of 30.95, contributing significantly to India's dominance in home conditions for over a decade.


His most recent appearance for the national team was in 2023 during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.
