Unconventional Love Story: Grandmother Elopes with Grandson
A Love Beyond Age
Love knows no boundaries, including age. A surprising incident has emerged from Uttar Pradesh, where a grandmother has fallen for a man young enough to be her grandson. This unusual relationship has raised eyebrows, but it is indeed a reality.
The 52-year-old mother of four left her husband and children to elope with a 25-year-old man, who is considered her grandson by relation. The couple has since tied the knot.
This marks the woman's third marriage. Reports indicate that just ten days ago, she ran away with her grandson-like partner from their village. Indravati, the woman in question, was married to Chandrashekhar for 20 years, with whom she has a daughter and two sons.
This was Indravati's second marriage; she had a daughter from her first marriage, who was married off by Chandrashekhar two years ago. Over the years, Indravati grew disillusioned with Chandrashekhar and fell in love with Azad, a 25-year-old who is related to her as a grandson.
Perception of Their Relationship
According to villagers, the two shared a grandmother-grandson relationship due to their close ties in the same village and caste. The affair came to light two days ago, but the couple boldly married at a temple last Sunday, disregarding societal norms. Following the wedding, both families and the local community decided to boycott them.
Allegations of a Conspiracy
Chandrashekhar, Indravati's husband, claims that he was working in another city to support his family when he discovered his wife's affair with Azad. He alleges that they were plotting to harm him and their children, intending to poison them. Fortunately, he learned of their plan in time, saving their lives.
