Resignation Announcement

New Delhi. A diplomat from the United Nations has stepped down, alleging that the organization is preparing for potential nuclear weapon scenarios in Iran.

Mohammad Safa announced his resignation via a post on the social media platform X, sharing a letter that outlined his reasons for this decision.

Why Did Mohammad Safa Resign?
Safa explained in his post that he made this decision after considerable reflection. He also claimed that some senior UN officials are acting under the influence of a powerful lobby.

Safa stated, 'I don't believe people grasp the seriousness of the situation, as the UN is preparing for the potential use of nuclear weapons in Iran.'

In a shared image, Safa remarked, 'This is a picture of Tehran. It is for those uneducated, who have never traveled the world or served in the military, and who are salivating at the thought of bombing it.'

Safa further elaborated, 'This is not a sparsely populated desert. There are families, children, and pets here. These are hardworking individuals with their own dreams. Wishing for war is a sick mentality.'

Fear of Nuclear Attack
Safa continued, 'Tehran is a city of nearly 10 million people. Just imagine if a nuclear bomb were dropped on Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or any such city.'

Safa disclosed, 'I left my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties to avoid being part of this crime against humanity and to prevent witnessing it. I did this in an attempt to avert a 'nuclear winter' before it is too late.'

Safa also noted, 'Yesterday, around 10 million people in the United States protested with the slogan 'No Kings.' The possibility of using nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It is extremely dangerous.'

Background of Mohammad Safa
Mohammad Safa served as the chief representative of the 'Patriotic Vision' (PVA) at the UN. PVA is an international organization that holds special advisory status with the UN Economic and Social Council.

According to the UN Environment Programme's 'Champions of the Earth,' Safa has been the executive director of the Patriotic Vision Organization since 2013. In 2016, PVA nominated him to become its permanent representative at the UN.
