Ukraine Launches Coordinated Strikes on Russian Military Targets
Ukrainian Strikes Target Russian Infrastructure
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine announced that the nation has executed synchronized long-range attacks on military and strategic sites within Russia, as well as in Crimea and adjacent waters. These drone assaults resulted in the deaths of seven warehouse employees and left many others injured. Additionally, one of the strikes ignited a fire at an oil depot in the broader capital area, according to local officials. Reports indicate that 25 individuals sustained injuries when Ukrainian drones targeted a warehouse belonging to Wildberries, the largest online retailer in Russia.
Zelenskyy revealed that Ukrainian forces successfully hit two significant logistics centers in the Moscow and Tambov regions, situated over 500 km and nearly 700 km from the frontline. These facilities were reportedly utilized for supplying components essential for Russian drone manufacturing and navigation systems. Ukraine also asserted that it struck targets in the Sea of Azov, the Black Sea, and the occupied territory of Crimea.
These military actions were described by Zelenskyy as a direct response to Russia's ongoing assaults on Ukrainian urban areas and civilian infrastructure. He expressed gratitude to Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, Armed Forces, Security Service (SBU), and Defence Intelligence (HUR) for their roles in executing the operation.

Russia's 'Mega-Strike' Earlier
Earlier this week, Russia showcased one of its most powerful conventional weapons by releasing footage of a FAB-3000 glide bomb targeting Ukrainian positions near the frontline town of Orikhiv. The video, shared by the Russian defense ministry, depicted a massive explosion followed by a visible shockwave and thick black smoke rising from the site. In the 20-second clip, a pilot can be heard stating, "It's hard to imagine a target that would not be destroyed by an aerial bomb of this size." While Ukrainian media reported that the bomb impacted a residential area in Orikhiv, Russia maintained that its aim was military installations.
