Under the guidance of Michael Carrick, Manchester United dominated the match against Sabah. Matheus Cunha opened the scoring midway through the first half. Although Joy-Lance Mickels nearly equalized for the visitors, United quickly regained control, scoring two goals within three minutes before halftime. Lens achieved the most thrilling comeback of the night, overcoming a 2-1 deficit against Slavia Praha to win 3-2, despite Slavia playing with ten men for much of the second half. Danijel Sturm opened the scoring for Slavia, but Abdallah Sima equalized for Lens. After Sturm scored again for Slavia, Mikulas Konecny's red card complicated their situation. Bayern Munich's Commanding Performance
