Violence Erupts Over Lemon Purchase in Udaipur

In Udaipur, Rajasthan, police have taken six individuals into custody after a dispute over lemons escalated into communal unrest. The altercation began as a minor disagreement between a vegetable seller and two customers regarding the purchase of lemons.


Location of the Incident: Dhanmandi Area


Authorities reported that the confrontation occurred in the Dhanmandi locality of Udaipur. The verbal exchange quickly turned violent, leading to a clash that involved multiple parties.


Assailants Attack Vendor with Sharp Object


According to the Superintendent of Police, five individuals assaulted the vegetable vendor, identified as Satvir, with a sharp weapon, resulting in severe injuries. He was subsequently transported to MB Hospital for medical attention.


The situation intensified when two roadside stalls and several vegetable carts were set ablaze. Firefighters arrived promptly to extinguish the flames, while police worked to restore order in the area.


Tragic Incident in Hyderabad Involves Infant's Death

In a separate and disturbing case, a father allegedly murdered his two-week-old daughter in Hyderabad. The infant's body was discovered discarded in a garbage dump within the jurisdiction of the Golconda police station.


Father Stabs Infant and Disposes of Body


Following a report from the accused's wife, police apprehended the suspect. Jagat, a security guard originally from Nepal, reportedly stabbed his baby girl before abandoning her remains. According to police statements, 'In the early hours of yesterday, around 2 am, Jagat, a Nepalese national who had been living and working as a watchman for a year, killed his 14-day-old daughter.'


'He took the body outside the apartment, inflicted a stab wound to her neck, and disposed of the deceased infant near a garbage dump in Tolichowki. His wife lodged a complaint, leading to the suspect's arrest. The motives behind this heinous act remain unclear, and further investigations are underway,' stated the Inspector at Golconda police station.
