Two Teens Detained for Throwing Stones at Passenger Trains in India

The first incident involved a 13-year-old boy who threw stones at the Puri-Indore Express while picking tamarind. Another teenager, Anil Pal, damaged a window of the Ahmedabad-Hawrah Express, claiming he did it for fun. Both have been charged under the Railway Act. Incidents of Stone-Throwing on Trains

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has apprehended two teenagers in separate incidents involving stone-throwing at passenger trains in Nagpur and Chhattisgarh. Officials confirmed the arrests, which were made by the RPF under the South East Central Railway jurisdiction.


The first incident occurred on May 1, when a 13-year-old boy threw stones at the Puri-Indore Express while picking tamarind near the railway tracks in Durg, Chhattisgarh.


In another case, Anil Pal threw stones at the Ahmedabad-Hawrah Express as it passed through Nagpur city, resulting in damage to a train window. Pal admitted that he acted out of boredom and for fun. Authorities have charged both teenagers under Section 153 of the Railway Act.
