Health officials announced on Friday that two individuals in Gujarat's Vadodara and Bhavnagar districts have tested positive for the coronavirus. The confirmed cases involve a 20-year-old male and a 44-year-old female.

According to the authorities, both patients are currently in stable condition. Dr. Hitendra Chauhan, the Resident Medical Officer at the Government Sayajirao Hospital in Vadodara, reported that the young man was admitted after his test results confirmed the infection on July 27. He stated, "The patient's condition is stable, and treatment is ongoing."

Citizens are advised to disregard any rumors regarding the virus. The second case involves a 44-year-old woman from Morbi district, who contracted COVID-19 after falling ill during her visit to the pilgrimage site of Palitana in Bhavnagar district. Health officer R.K. Sinha from the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation explained that the woman arrived in Palitana on July 28 and initially received treatment at a private hospital due to her deteriorating health. Sinha added, "Her infection was confirmed after she was transferred to Shri Bajrangdasbapa Arogya Dham on July 29."

The woman's condition is now stable, and she continues to receive medical care.
