Two Arrested in Faridabad for Counterfeiting Currency
Counterfeit Currency Operation Uncovered
In Faridabad, Haryana, law enforcement has apprehended two individuals on charges of producing counterfeit currency and distributing it in the market. Authorities seized fake notes along with a printer used in the operation.
The confiscated currency includes one ₹500 note, five ₹200 notes, and ten ₹100 notes. The suspects have been identified as Lucky (19) from Gidoh village in Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, and Yogesh (19) from Mukesh Colony in Ballabgarh.
According to a police official, during the interrogation, Yogesh admitted to using the printer to create the counterfeit notes and handed them over to Lucky for distribution. Both suspects were presented in court on Wednesday and have been remanded to judicial custody.
