Two Arrested in Dwarka for Plotting Neighbor's Murder

In a significant police operation, two men were arrested in Dwarka, South West Delhi, for allegedly planning to murder a neighbor over a personal dispute. The suspects, Deepak and Subinder, were found with a stolen scooter and a firearm. During interrogation, Deepak revealed his motive rooted in a longstanding feud, while Subinder indicated plans to resume criminal activities. Both individuals have extensive criminal records, raising concerns about public safety in the area. This incident highlights ongoing issues with habitual offenders in urban neighborhoods.
 

Arrests Made in Dwarka Murder Conspiracy

Authorities have apprehended two individuals in Dwarka, South West Delhi, who were allegedly planning to murder a neighbor due to an ongoing feud. The police disclosed this information on Saturday.


The suspects, identified as Deepak alias Kala Natiya (30) and Subinder Kumar alias Fagwa (28), were found in possession of a firearm and a scooter that had been stolen from Dabri.


On September 23, law enforcement received a tip-off regarding two habitual offenders roaming in Dwarka Sector 17 with illegal weapons and a stolen scooter.


According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh, a trap was set near the Golf Course Road in front of the Sports Complex in Dwarka. After a brief chase, the two individuals on the scooter were intercepted around 9 PM.


Upon searching Deepak, police recovered a country-made pistol, and it was confirmed that the scooter had been stolen from the Janakpuri area. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act.


During interrogation, Deepak revealed that he had a longstanding enmity with a neighbor and had devised a plan to kill him. He admitted to purchasing a weapon from an acquaintance and involving Subinder, who has a history of involvement in murder and robbery cases.


Furthermore, Subinder disclosed during questioning that he was planning to resume his extortion activities. According to officials, Deepak has a total of 16 criminal cases registered against him, including robbery, snatching, and theft, and he has previously been convicted in a robbery case at Janakpuri police station. The DCP noted that Subinder has five prior cases against him, including murder, robbery, and theft.
