Escalating Tensions with Iran

New Delhi. On Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stern warning regarding escalating military actions against Iran. He stated that if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. will target Iranian power plants on Tuesday.

In a post shared on Truth Social, Trump outlined America's next targets and specified which locations in Iran would be hit within the next two days.

Trump declared, 'Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day in Iran – everything will happen on the same day. This has never happened before.' He further warned, 'Open the Strait of Hormuz, or you will face dire consequences, just wait and see! Thank God.'

In a post filled with aggressive rhetoric, Trump reiterated his previous threats, promising to strike Iranian power facilities and bridges.

U.S. Forces Rescue Pilot from Iran

Just a day prior, the U.S. military successfully rescued a pilot who had crashed in Iran after his aircraft was shot down a few days earlier, landing behind enemy lines.

Following the U.S. threats, there has been no immediate response from Iran. However, Tehran has conducted attacks on economic and infrastructure sites in neighboring Gulf Arab countries.

This rescue operation was part of a search and recovery mission initiated after the F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft went down on Friday. Trump confirmed that the pilot was injured but is currently in stable condition.
