Trump's Strong Stance on Iran

In his first statement following the joint airstrikes conducted by Israel and the United States in Iran, President Donald Trump described the military actions as the initiation of "major combat operations" against what he termed the "wicked" regime in Tehran. In a video shared on social media platform X, Trump accused Iran of attempting to revive its nuclear ambitions and emphasized that the United States would take all necessary measures to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He urged the Islamic Revolutionary Guard to disarm, offering them a choice: surrender peacefully or face dire consequences. Trump stated, “The United States military is engaged in a significant and ongoing operation to thwart this radical dictatorship from posing a threat to America and our national security. We will dismantle their missile capabilities and obliterate their missile industry. Their navy will be destroyed, and we will ensure that regional terrorist groups can no longer destabilize the area or attack our forces.”
