US Military Strikes Against Iran Canceled

On Thursday, President Donald Trump declared that he has aborted the planned military strikes on Iran, attributing the decision to advanced discussions with Tehran that have reached the upper echelons of its government, along with the endorsement from regional allies. In a message shared on Truth Social, Trump explained that this choice followed extensive negotiations involving various nations across the Middle East and beyond.

He stated, "Given that talks with the Islamic Republic of Iran have escalated to the highest levels of Iranian leadership and received approval, I, as the President of the United States, have canceled the scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening. The discussions and final points have been thoroughly approved by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others. The Naval Blockade will remain fully enforced until this agreement is finalized — the timing and location of the signing will be announced shortly," Trump noted on Truth Social.

While Trump did not elaborate on the specifics of the agreement being negotiated, he suggested that the talks are approaching completion, with a formal signing ceremony anticipated to be announced soon. He reiterated that the US naval blockade would stay in effect until the deal is officially concluded.
