US President Rejects Iranian Memorandum

Washington DC: On Friday, President Donald Trump dismissed a 14-point memorandum released by Iranian media regarding a potential peace agreement between the US and Iran, labeling it as "fake." He accused Iran of leaking this document, which had not been mutually agreed upon by the US. Trump stated, "The terms that Iran leaked to the Fake News have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing. Their claims, including their weak and pathetic statement about having a deal, are completely disconnected from reality." He further criticized the Iranian leadership for making false assertions about the negotiations, branding them as "very dishonorable people" who are incapable of negotiating in good faith.

Trump also condemned Iran for an attack on a merchant vessel carrying Indian sailors near the Strait of Hormuz, which occurred on Thursday. He described the assault, allegedly carried out by "Iranian drones," as "unacceptable." He emphasized, "Their totally rebuffed drone attack last night against Indian ships leaving the Hormuz Strait is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE."
