Authorities recovered two pistols, a country-made firearm, live cartridges, and spent shells from Saini.

Following this, police arrested a suspect named Mayank after an encounter, while two others were also apprehended and sent to jail.

On the night of April 28-29, police and the SWAT team arrested two suspects, Rinku Saini and Bharat Saini, near the Mundakhera canal. Senior Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh stated that the police took the suspects to the scene to recover digital video evidence related to the crime.
