West Bengal's Chief Minister, Suvendu Adhikari, expressed his condolences for the late Tutu Bose, a former president of the Mohun Bagan Club, who passed away at the age of 78. In a post on X, he highlighted Tutu's remarkable impact on sports administration, stating that his contributions will be remembered forever. Adhikari emphasized that Tutu's leadership, vision, and passion for sports would continue to inspire future generations.

He shared, "I am deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Swapna Sadhan Basu (Tutu Basu), former president of Mohun Bagan Club, former Member of Parliament, and senior sports administrator. Mohun Bagan Club and Tutu Basu were complementary to each other."

Adhikari further added, "His extraordinary contributions to sports administration over many years will remain eternally memorable. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, loved ones, well-wishers, and countless admirers. I pray to Almighty God for eternal peace for his departed soul. Om Shanti."
