New Delhi, Sep 28: On Monday, leaders from both the BJP and Congress came together to honor the legacy of revolutionary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary, reflecting on his bravery, patriotism, and significant role in India's struggle for independence.

Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his sentiments on social media platform 'X', stating, "On the birth anniversary of the immortal revolutionary Bhagat Singh, who devoted his life to the freedom of our nation; I pay my humble tribute. His courage, sacrifice, and martyrdom for the nation's pride and honor will always inspire us."

Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis remarked, "Today, we honor the great revolutionary Shaheed Bhagat Singh, whose bravery and sacrifice became a powerful emblem of India's fight for freedom on his birth anniversary."

Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi also commemorated him, saying, "Remembering Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji on his birth anniversary. His unmatched courage, steadfast patriotism, and ultimate sacrifice for our nation continue to inspire every Indian. His spirit of bravery and sacrifice fuels the flame of patriotism in future generations."

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy paid his respects, stating, "Remembering Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh on his Jayanti. His remarkable courage, supreme sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to freedom continue to motivate generations. Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, shared his respects, saying, "On the birth anniversary of the great revolutionary Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Ji, we pay our humble respects to him. His fight for India's independence, unmatched courage, and ultimate sacrifice will always inspire us all."

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also honored Bhagat Singh, sharing poignant lines in Hindi: "Likh raha hun mai anjaam jiska...kal aagaaj aayega... Mere lahu ka har ek katra...inkalab layega."
