Honoring Prabhat Jha's Contributions

The thoughts of Prabhat Jha have illuminated the paths of generations. His impactful ideas, writing, organizational skills, and dedication to the nation significantly strengthened the BJP. This was expressed by Raj Bhushan Chaudhary, the Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti, during a seminar held on Sunday at Hindi Bhawan, New Delhi, commemorating the second death anniversary of Prabhat Jha, a former national vice-president of the BJP and ex-member of the Rajya Sabha.

Chaudhary remarked that Prabhat Jha was a vigilant journalist, a sensitive writer, an adept organizer, and above all, a dedicated worker who prioritized national interests. His words reflected strong convictions, and his personality radiated warmth.

Ram Bahadur Rai, a senior journalist and president of the Indira Gandhi National Art Center, chaired the event and noted that Prabhat Jha possessed a multifaceted personality. He emphasized that Jha embraced the truth while remaining committed to his party. Rai encouraged the organizers to maintain the continuity of events in Jha's memory and to familiarize people with his thoughts and writings. He suggested initiating a series of memorial lectures on topics that were dear to Jha by the next anniversary.

As a distinguished guest, Hitesh Shankar, editor of Panchjanya, highlighted the clarity in Jha's thoughts, noting that such clarity is rare in politics. He described Jha as a person of exceptional character and depth, who inspired trust among people and earned their confidence.

Shiv Shakti Nath Bakshi, editor of Kamal Sandesh, remarked that Prabhat Jha was a leader who worked behind the scenes and was a people's person. He made significant contributions as an organizer in Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. Pankaj Kumar Jha, media advisor to the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, acknowledged Jha's efforts in uniting party workers and leading them effectively, particularly during his tenure as the communication chief of the Madhya Pradesh BJP.

During the event, guests launched two books: 'Prabhat Jha: Person and Work,' edited by Sanjeev Sinha, and 'Justice Philosophy of New India,' written by Sumit Mishra. The seminar was conducted by Sanjeev Sinha, with a vote of thanks delivered by Sharat Jha.

Notable attendees included senior journalists Awadhesh Kumar, Manoj Mishra, MLA Abhay Verma, Santosh Ojha, president of the BJP Purvanchal Morcha in Delhi, Vidyanand Thakur, Tushmul Jha, Anjani Jha, and many other distinguished guests.
