Impact on Train Services

The derailment significantly disrupted train operations on the Bareilly-Badaun-Kasganj route. The severe fog and zero visibility conditions hampered the rescue and repair efforts.

Restoration of Services

Thanks to the prompt actions of the railway's rescue and repair teams, train services on this route were restored by Saturday morning. Fortunately, there were no human casualties, although both bulls were killed in the incident.

Details from Officials

Senior Station Master (SSM) Afsar Hussain reported that the two bulls unexpectedly appeared in front of the freight train, leading to their demise upon impact. He explained that the remains of the bulls caused one of the train's cars to derail, obstructing the railway line and affecting traffic for several hours. Despite the challenges posed by the poor visibility, repair teams from Kasganj and Bareilly managed to fix the tracks within a few hours, allowing the train to continue to its destination and restoring normal rail traffic.
