Tragic Suicide Incident in Barabanki: Young Man Takes His Life During Video Call

In a heartbreaking incident in Barabanki, a 27-year-old man named Shashank Saxena committed suicide while on a video call with his family. The young man, who worked as a regional manager, had traveled to the area for work. Despite his family's attempts to alert the police, he had already passed away by the time help arrived. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances leading to this tragic event, raising concerns about mental health and support systems.
 

Young Man Commits Suicide in Barabanki

A young man reportedly took his own life in a lodge near Chhaya Chauraha in Barabanki while on a video call with family members. The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Shashank Saxena, a resident of Tikait Rai Talab Colony in the market Khala area of Lucknow.


According to police officials, Saxena was working as a regional manager for a private company and had traveled to Barabanki for work-related purposes. He had booked a room at Madhuban Lodge on Wednesday and began a video call with his relatives. During the call, he mentioned his intention to hang himself, and before anyone could react, he proceeded to do so.


Family members alerted the Barabanki police, but unfortunately, by the time they arrived, Saxena had already passed away. The authorities have sent the body for a post-mortem examination. Sudhir Kumar Singh, the in-charge of the local police station, stated that inquiries are being conducted with the family to determine the reasons behind this tragic incident.
