Shocking Murder of Engineering Student

Amaravati, Aug 7: A disturbing incident unfolded in Andhra Pradesh on Friday when an engineering student fatally stabbed his girlfriend, with whom he was reportedly in a relationship.

The tragic event took place near Chintapalli in the Karampudi mandal of Palnadu district, as confirmed by local authorities.

Bala Saidulu and the deceased were both pursuing B.Tech degrees at a private institution in Guntur and had been dating for a while.

Initial investigations revealed that Saidulu had summoned the victim to Chintapalli in the morning to address some personal matters. During their discussion, a heated argument ensued, leading to the fatal stabbing.

Police reports indicate that Saidulu had been feeling neglected by the victim in recent times.

While Bala Saidulu is from a village in the Karampudi mandal, the victim hailed from Chilakaluripet in the same district.

Chief Minister Responds to Another Incident Involving Medical Students

In a separate incident, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called for strict action against individuals involved in a hit-and-run case that injured medical students in Rajamahendravaram.

The Chief Minister expressed his concern over the incident where a car collided with two students riding a scooty.

He sought updates on the condition of the injured students, Priyanka and Umesh, and was informed that the driver, who was under the influence of alcohol, had fled the scene but was later apprehended.

Naidu emphasized the need for severe penalties for those responsible and insisted that justice must be served without exception.

He also instructed officials to monitor Priyanka's health closely and ensure she receives all necessary medical care.

Tragically, Priyanka was declared brain-dead after the accident, which occurred at a mall in Rajamahendravaram in East Godavari district.

The incident, which took place on Tuesday, only became public knowledge on Thursday.

Dr. Priyanka, a postgraduate student at GSL Medical College, was riding as a passenger on a scooty when the accident happened. Despite the quick reactions of the rider and security personnel, the car struck the scooty again, resulting in severe head injuries to Priyanka. The vehicle fled the scene as bystanders raised alarms.

She was initially treated at a local hospital before being transferred to a facility in Hyderabad, where she was pronounced brain-dead.
