Fatal Incidents in Ballia District
In Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, two separate road accidents resulted in the deaths of a teenager and a young man, while the man's wife and son sustained injuries. This information was confirmed by local police on Monday.
According to the police, these incidents occurred on Sunday evening in the Haldi and Revati police station areas.
The police reported that a 15-year-old named Bunty Patel from Jawahi Baburani village was riding on a tractor when he fell off near the Nem Chapra Rajpur bridge. Tragically, he was run over by the tractor and died at the scene.
Rajendra Prasad Singh, the Haldi police station chief, stated on Monday that a case has been filed against the tractor driver based on a complaint from the deceased's uncle, Sarju Patel. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and the investigation is ongoing.
In another incident, a collision between a jeep and a motorcycle occurred on the Revati-Sahatwar main road near Trikalpur village on Sunday evening, resulting in the death of 40-year-old Om Prakash Gond. His wife, Pushpa Devi, aged 35, and their 10-year-old son, Alok, were injured.
Nearby residents rushed the injured to the Community Health Center in Revati, where doctors pronounced Om Prakash Gond dead. Pushpa Devi, who suffered serious injuries, has been admitted to the district hospital. Rakesh Bahadur Singh, the police station chief, mentioned that the body has also been sent for post-mortem, and the investigation is underway. The jeep involved in the accident has been seized.
