Fatal Accident in Jaipur
Jaipur: A tragic road accident occurred in Jaipur on Monday morning, resulting in the deaths of two young men and leaving two others seriously injured. The incident took place near the Kherwadi bridge in the Daulatpura police jurisdiction, where a truck collided with four friends riding on a motorcycle. Authorities have seized the truck and are currently searching for the driver who fled the scene.
Four Friends on One Motorcycle
According to reports, the four young men were riding together on a single motorcycle. At approximately 6:45 AM, their bike was struck by a truck on the service road of Daulatpura, beneath the Kherwadi bridge. The impact severely damaged the motorcycle, causing all four riders to be thrown onto the road.
Two of the young men died at the scene, while the other two sustained serious injuries. Local residents alerted the police immediately after the accident.
Casualties and Hospitalization
Police from the Daulatpura station arrived promptly and transported the injured individuals to the hospital. Both seriously injured men are currently receiving treatment at SMS Hospital in Jaipur, while the bodies of the deceased have been sent to the morgue for post-mortem examinations.
According to police, all four young men were originally from Uttar Pradesh and worked at a factory in the Harmada area of Jaipur. They were en route to work at the time of the accident.
Driver Flees the Scene
Following the collision, the truck driver fled the scene. The police have confiscated the truck and initiated a search for the driver. Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident, with authorities gathering information from witnesses and available evidence in the area.
Grief Strikes Families
The news of the two friends' deaths has plunged their families into mourning. Relatives of the injured young men rushed to the hospital upon learning of their condition. The police are proceeding with the necessary legal actions regarding the incident.
