Fatal Incident on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
Alwar (Rajasthan), March 8, 2026: A devastating road accident occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Alwar district around 4 PM on Sunday. The Managing Director of Shakun Group, Vallabh Maheshwari (62 years old), tragically lost his life when his BMW overturned and collided with a bridge.
Maheshwari was en route from Jaipur to Girirajji (Mathura) when the incident took place near chainage 136.8 in the Raini police jurisdiction. His vehicle suddenly became uncontrollable, breached the barricades, veered into the median, and struck the bridge wall. The car was severely damaged, but the driver escaped with only minor scratches.

Death at the Hospital Upon notification, police arrived at the scene. Vallabh Maheshwari and his driver were taken to Pinan Hospital. After initial treatment, they were referred to Harish Hospital in Alwar, where doctors pronounced Maheshwari dead. His body is being transported to Jaipur by ambulance.
