According to reports, the woman, identified as Savita, 35, who works as an Anganwadi worker, stated that her brother-in-law, Dinesh, was attempting to seize her land worth 5 crores located along a four-lane highway. She alleged that her husband, Radheshyam, was being influenced by Dinesh to consume substances, leading to frequent domestic violence. On the morning of the incident, after an argument where her husband was verbally abusive, she retrieved a pistol from under the bed. She first shot her brother-in-law and then her husband, claiming she was driven to this act due to ongoing abuse and violence. She expressed that her actions were for the future of her three children, two daughters and a son.
