Murder Investigation in Baljit Nagar

Delhi Police reported that a 32-year-old woman named Maneka Singh was allegedly murdered by strangulation in the Baljit Nagar locality on Saturday.


Authorities were alerted to the crime scene, where they discovered that Maneka, a housewife, had been killed. Her spouse is employed as a salesman at a furniture outlet in Kirti Nagar.


The police have apprehended a suspect, Dharmendra Kumar, aged 28, who is employed at a printing press. Preliminary inquiries suggest that the motive behind the murder was linked to an extramarital affair that escalated into a confrontation.


Another Disturbing Case in Seemapuri

In a separate alarming incident, a brother and sister were discovered hanging in their rented apartment in the Seemapuri area of Delhi. This tragic event occurred on Sunday and was uncovered when neighbors noticed a foul odor emanating from the ground-floor unit.


The victims have been identified as 32-year-old Viresh Kumar Tomar, son of Devender Kumar, and his 30-year-old sister, Chinki Tomar. Both hailed from Fatehpur Chak, Ramala in the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh.
