Husband Shoots Wife Over Alleged Infidelity

In a shocking incident in the Palamu district of Jharkhand, a 22-year-old woman was fatally shot by her husband after she confronted him about his suspected affair. The tragic event occurred in Naudiha village on Monday night, as reported by local police sources who chose to remain unnamed.

The victim has been identified as Simran Devi, while her husband, Vinit Singh, has been on the run since the incident. The couple had tied the knot in February. According to Mani Bhushan Prasad, the sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) of Medininagar, efforts are underway to apprehend Singh, who is evading capture.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the couple had a heated argument regarding Singh's alleged extramarital relationship, which ultimately led to the fatal shooting.

Another Domestic Violence Case in Jharkhand

In a separate case, a 25-year-old woman was reportedly murdered by her husband in Kondhawe Dhawade, Jharkhand, on May 16, due to suspicions about her fidelity.

Following an investigation, the Uttamnagar Police charged the accused, Deepak, who allegedly assaulted his wife, Diksha, with severe physical violence during an argument. Reports suggest that he intentionally kicked her in the chest, leading to her tragic death.

Confession After a Crime: A Man's Guilt in Noida

In another disturbing case from Noida, a man confessed to killing his wife last month after being consumed by jealousy. The 55-year-old, who holds a degree in computer engineering, suspected his wife of infidelity.

After a prolonged argument on April 7, he allegedly locked the bedroom door, suffocated her with a pillow, and struck her head with a hammer until he believed she was dead. Following the incident, he walked over two kilometers to the police station to confess his crime.
