Fatal Collision in Kaushambi

On Saturday, a motorcycle accident in the Sandipan Ghat police area of Kaushambi district resulted in the death of a rider, while his brother sustained serious injuries, according to police reports.

Abhishek Singh, the Circle Officer of Chail, stated that two brothers, Noumair Jafri (40) and Johar Jafri, were riding their motorcycle towards Muratganj market when a speeding car collided with them near Mela Bagh.

The collision tragically claimed Noumair Jafri's life at the scene, while Johar Jafri was rushed to a private hospital due to his critical condition.

Following the impact, the car veered off the road and crashed into a dilapidated house.

Singh further noted that the three occupants of the car escaped unharmed and fled the scene.

The police managed to retrieve the wrecked vehicle with the help of a JCB. The deceased's body has been sent for post-mortem, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
