Heartbreaking Incident in Amaravati

In a tragic turn of events, a Class X student named Murram Shivani, who recently shared the stage with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during a Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting in Polavaram district, took her own life on Monday.

Shivani, who had been seated next to the Chief Minister and spoke at the MPTM 4.0 event held at Zilla Parishad High School in Rampachodavaram, was found hanging at her grandmother's residence in Irlapalli village.

She left behind a note expressing her apologies to her parents for not meeting their expectations, although the reasons behind her tragic decision remain unclear.

Her parents are employed at a hotel in Korukonda, while she was living with her grandmother and attending Government High School in Rampachodavaram.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Shivani was known for her academic dedication and had garnered attention for her inspiring speech at the recent MPTM, where she expressed her ambition to earn the Shining Star Award the following year.

Following her speech, the Chief Minister personally engaged with her, inviting her to sit beside him for a conversation.

Expressing his sorrow over Shivani's passing, Chief Minister Naidu has called for a comprehensive inquiry into the incident.

He remarked on social media, 'It is truly distressing that Shivani, who spoke so passionately during the mega parent-teacher meeting, has taken such a drastic step. I remember her aspirations and dedication to her studies.'

'It is heartbreaking to witness a young tribal girl with immense potential lose her life in this manner. Regardless of the reasons, her untimely departure before achieving her dreams is deeply troubling,' he added.

'I urge students and the youth to remain resilient in the face of adversity. Do not let pressure or despair overwhelm you. There is always a solution to every problem. Please confide in your family, friends, and loved ones. Overcome challenges and strive to realize your dreams. The government is here to support you in every possible way,' the Chief Minister concluded.

The Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting, attended by both the Chief Minister and Education Minister Nara Lokesh on July 24, aimed to foster collaboration among parents, teachers, and the community to enhance student development.
