Noida, Oct 3: Authorities have identified the individual who tragically jumped from the 43rd floor of the Supernova building in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, as 29-year-old Sambhav Jain, a resident of Gurugram, Haryana.


According to Manisha Singh, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) for Noida Zone, the police were alerted around 11:30 a.m. regarding a suicide at the Supernova Spira Tower, located in Sector 94, which falls under the Sector-126 police jurisdiction.


Upon arrival, officers confirmed the identity of the deceased as Sambhav Jain, originally from Manesar in Gurugram, Haryana.


Singh mentioned that the victim's family has been notified about the incident.


"Investigators are currently gathering evidence from the scene, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination," she stated.


Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the case.


Initial reports indicated that the impact of the fall was severe, resulting in the body being severed into two parts, with a sound akin to a bomb blast heard in the vicinity.


Reports suggest that Jain was staying at an AIR BNB within the Supernova complex.


A video capturing the moment of the jump has circulated widely on social media.


Details regarding the motive behind the suicide remain unclear.


Police are actively looking into the matter.


Media sources have cited an air conditioning technician who attempted to intervene, claiming that Jain expressed feelings of depression before the incident, although this information has not been independently confirmed.
