A 20-year-old man reportedly took his own life by jumping from the 16th floor of a building in the Bisrakh area of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday, according to police reports.

The deceased has been identified as Aryan Sharma, who resided in an apartment at Gaur City Center and was believed to be suffering from mental distress. Witnesses stated that he jumped from the top floor and fell to the third floor.

Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
