Fatal Train Accident in Lalitpur District

Banda (Uttar Pradesh), July 27 – A heartbreaking incident occurred near the Dhourra railway station in the Jakhlaun police area of Lalitpur district on Monday, where a woman and her two children tragically lost their lives after being struck by a train. This information was confirmed by a police official.

Ajay Kumar, the Circle Officer of Lalitpur Sadar, reported that the incident took place around 8:30 AM when the unidentified train hit the family. The deceased have been identified as Deepa Yadav (35), her daughter Shivangi (5), and her son Krish (2).

Following a report from the station master, the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination. The officer further revealed that the woman had been residing in her maternal village of Dhourra with her three children and husband, Vicky Yadav, who is known to have a drinking problem.

It remains unclear whether the woman intentionally took her children's lives by stepping in front of the train or if it was an unfortunate accident. The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
