Heartbreaking Collapse During Match

A shocking video circulating on social media shows a cricketer suddenly collapsing during a match in Ferozepur. The player, identified as Harjeet Singh, suffered a fatal heart attack while on the pitch. Just moments before the incident, he had hit a massive six and appeared ready to continue playing. However, shortly after the non-striker was dismissed, he fell to the ground.



Despite immediate attempts by teammates to revive him with CPR, it was too late. Harjeet was playing at the DAV School Ground when the tragedy struck.

This incident echoes a similar tragedy that occurred in June 2024, when a 42-year-old player named Ram Ganesh Tevar died during a match in Mumbai. He too collapsed right after hitting a six and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
