Unfortunately, this attempt turned deadly as the flames quickly spread, engulfing the entire apartment building. A 30-year-old Chinese woman, who lived on the fifth floor with her husband and their two-month-old baby, lost her life in the blaze.

As smoke and fire blocked their escape route, the couple made a desperate decision to throw their baby out of the window to a neighbor for safety. The husband managed to reach a safe area, but the woman fell and sustained severe injuries. She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries a few hours later.
The building housed over 30 apartments along with commercial shops below. At least eight individuals suffered from smoke inhalation due to the fire. Authorities have indicated that they are preparing to issue a warrant against the woman for negligent homicide and causing the fire.
