Fatal Electrocution in Kotputli, Rajasthan

On the morning of July 28, a tragic incident occurred in the Kotputli area of Rajasthan, where a 45-year-old woman lost her life after coming into contact with a high-tension power line. This information was confirmed by local police.


The incident took place in the village of Danthil, and the deceased has been identified as Kesar Devi. Following the electrocution, she was rushed to BDM District Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival.


In the aftermath of the incident, a large crowd of villagers gathered at the hospital and initiated protests. The demonstrators demanded adequate compensation for the victim's family and called for strict action against the officials deemed responsible for the alleged negligence.


Officials, including Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Yogesh Deval and Kotputli Police Station Chief Rajesh Kumar, arrived at the scene to calm the agitated villagers.


The police have stated that necessary legal actions are being taken regarding the case.
