Three Young Girls Lose Lives in Muradabad Pond Accident

In a heartbreaking incident in a village of Muradabad district, three young girls reportedly drowned in a pond. This tragic event was confirmed by local police on Wednesday.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 5 PM on Tuesday in the village of Dhiria Dan, located in the Bhagatpur police jurisdiction. Four girls had gone to fetch fodder for livestock when they decided to take a dip in the pond.

Unfortunately, they accidentally ventured into deeper waters and began to struggle.

Authorities reported that one girl managed to escape and alerted the villagers. After nearly two hours of searching, the bodies of the three girls were recovered from the pond. They were identified as Uzma (10), Nikhat (8), and Priyanshi (8).

The Superintendent of Police (Rural), Kunwar Akash Singh, mentioned that only one of the bodies has been sent for post-mortem examination.
