A distressing incident has emerged from Moradabad district in Uttar Pradesh, leaving the community in shock. A young girl had accompanied her aunt to a field to collect grass. While the aunt went to perform her evening prayers, the minor girl wandered off and suddenly went missing. The following morning, when she was discovered, her condition was horrifying.

The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday evening. The aunt had gone to the forest to gather grass as usual, sending the young girl along to help. They were only separated for a few minutes, but those moments led to a terrifying turn of events. When the aunt returned from her prayers, the girl had not come back, raising alarm among the family.

Search Efforts Intensify

As night fell and the girl still hadn’t returned, her mother ventured into the woods to search for her. She called out for her daughter and scoured the maize fields, but to no avail. After an extensive search, the mother found one of the girl's sandals in the maize field, intensifying their fears.

Brutal Discovery
When the search resumed the next morning, the mother found her daughter in a horrific state. The girl's body was discovered in the field, partially unclothed, with severe injuries to her face and private parts. There were over 40 wounds on her body, indicating that she had been brutally assaulted before being murdered.

Police Investigation Underway

Upon receiving news of the incident, local police arrived at the scene and took the body for an autopsy. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Moradabad, Satpal Antil, inspected the site and stated that the case is extremely serious and is being investigated from all angles. The victim's family has mentioned the names of some acquaintances, prompting the police to explore the possibility of personal enmity or internal disputes.

Additionally, it was noted that the report of the girl’s disappearance was not filed promptly, which could have expedited the investigation. Nevertheless, the police have called in a forensic team to gather evidence.

Awaiting Autopsy Results

Currently, the police are awaiting the autopsy report to determine whether the girl was sexually assaulted. However, based on the condition of the body, there are strong suspicions that she was raped before being killed with a sharp weapon. SSP Satpal Antil has indicated that the police have uncovered some crucial leads and are confident that the case will be solved soon. He assured that the perpetrator, regardless of who they are, will not escape justice.
