A 17-year-old boy named Rishabh lost his life while trying to mediate a conflict between two young men, who were also seriously injured. According to Ashish Jain, CSP of the Garha police station, the conflict originated between Krish Kumar, a resident of Lal Mitti in Ghamapur, and Yashraj from Bedi Nagar, over a girl. Krish had been in a relationship with the girl for two years, which ended recently. Following this, the girl developed a friendship with Yashraj through social media, which eventually turned romantic. This situation angered Krish, who pressured the girl to rekindle their past relationship.

Escalation of the Conflict

The dispute intensified during the immersion of idols at Gaurighat on Friday, where Krish confronted the girl. She informed Yashraj about the confrontation, leading to a heated argument between the two young men over the phone, culminating in a meeting near Madan Mahal station. What began as a verbal disagreement quickly escalated into a violent clash, with weapons being drawn.

Tragic Outcome

During this chaotic scene, Rishabh attempted to intervene, but the attackers turned on him, resulting in a fatal assault that claimed his life on the spot. The police have registered a case against both parties involved and have arrested two suspects, while efforts are ongoing to locate a third individual.
