Shocking Crime in Renapur

In a heart-wrenching incident in Latur's Renapur area, a son has allegedly killed his elderly mother over a land dispute. Following the tragic event, he took his own life. The shocking details emerged on Thursday, and by Friday, authorities had registered a murder case against the deceased son. Both mother and son were cremated together in Sangavi.

Suicide Precedes Discovery of Mother's Body
On Thursday evening around 4:30 PM, 48-year-old Kakasaheb Venunath Jadhav, a resident of Sangavi, hanged himself from a lemon tree in Renapur Pimpalfaata. Police arrived at the scene to investigate. However, the situation escalated when, a few hours later, around 9 PM, the body of his 80-year-old mother, Samindrabai Jadhav, was discovered in a nearby field. Both bodies were sent for post-mortem and later handed over to the family. Subsequently, the mother and son were cremated together.

Anger Leads to Tragedy
Investigations revealed that Kakasaheb had been in a heated argument with his mother regarding the sale of their farmland, which she opposed. In a fit of rage, he brutally assaulted her and strangled her to death.

Covering Up the Crime
After committing the murder, Kakasaheb buried his mother's body in a sugarcane field to conceal the crime. Tragically, he then took his own life by hanging. The police have now filed a murder case against the deceased son, Kakasaheb Jadhav.
