Tragic Incident in Gangoh: Two Children Killed by Collapsing Wall

A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Daulatpur village, Gangoh, where two young boys tragically lost their lives after a wall collapsed. Ajmal, 12, and Shifan, 4, were riding their bicycles when a leaning wall fell on them. Despite immediate rescue efforts, Ajmal was declared dead at a local clinic, while Shifan passed away on the way to the hospital. The children's parents chose not to pursue legal action, and the bodies were returned to the family after necessary formalities. This incident highlights the urgent need for safety measures in residential areas.
 

Fatal Wall Collapse in Gangoh Village

On Friday, a tragic incident occurred in Daulatpur village, located in the Gangoh area of Haranpur district, where two children lost their lives due to a collapsing wall, as reported by local authorities. The incident took place in the evening when 12-year-old Ajmal and 4-year-old Shifan were riding their bicycles.


According to Sanjeev Kumar, the officer in charge of Gangoh police station, a leaning wall of a local resident named Abbas unexpectedly fell, burying both children under the debris. Nearby residents rushed to the scene and, after considerable effort, managed to rescue the children from the rubble.


The injured children were quickly taken by their family to a private clinic in Lakhanouti, where doctors pronounced Ajmal dead upon arrival. Kumar further stated that Shifan was referred to Saharanpur for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries en route.


Authorities mentioned that the children's parents declined to pursue any legal action regarding the incident, leading to the completion of necessary formalities before the bodies were handed over to the family.
