A tragic incident in Fatehpur has left the community in shock after a woman, Meena Kumari, was found dead in a field shortly after leaving home. Her brother-in-law discovered her body, leading to fears and panic among local residents. With multiple wounds indicating a possible murder, police have launched an investigation and detained several individuals. The victim leaves behind three children and a history of family tragedy, raising concerns about safety in the area. Shocking Discovery in Fatehpur


A disturbing event has unfolded in Fatehpur, where a woman left her home under the pretext of going to the restroom. After a considerable amount of time had passed, her brother-in-law followed her outside. What he discovered left him in shock, as he found her in a horrifying state, causing him to faint on the spot.


This incident has sent shockwaves through the local community.


The victim, identified as 35-year-old Meena Kumari from Lahasi village, informed her children around 2 PM on Saturday that she was stepping out for a bathroom break. When she did not return for an extended period, her brother-in-law and children set out to search for her, only to be met with terror upon finding her.


Meena was discovered in a field around 4 PM that same day, but tragically, she was no longer alive. Her body was found covered in blood, with a plastic container nearby. Her brother-in-law was overcome with grief, crying out for her, which attracted the attention of other villagers.


There were multiple wounds on her body, leading authorities to suspect that she may have been murdered with a sharp weapon. Following a complaint from her brother-in-law, the police have initiated an investigation. Forensic teams arrived at the scene to gather evidence, claiming to have uncovered several crucial leads.


The police have also detained a few individuals for questioning. Circle Officer Jagat Kanaujia stated that no accusations have been made against anyone by the family. The brutal murder of the woman has created a state of panic in the area, with residents feeling unsafe after this daylight incident.


It is worth noting that the woman's husband had committed suicide by hanging three years prior. She leaves behind three children: a 17-year-old son who works in Punjab, a 12-year-old daughter named Shivani who assists with household and farming tasks, and a 10-year-old son named Naik who is in fifth grade. After the family was separated, they inherited 3.5 bighas of land, which Meena cultivated to support her family.
