Disturbing Event in Buxar District

In a heartbreaking incident in Buxar district of Bihar, a woman reportedly poisoned her three children before ingesting poison herself on Wednesday. Tragically, one child has lost their life, according to police reports.

Authorities revealed that the incident took place in Rasne village, located within the jurisdiction of the Rajpur police station. The deceased child has been identified as Karan Kumar. The mother, Ruby Devi, along with her surviving children, Arjun and Radha Kumari, has been admitted to a government hospital in Buxar, where their condition is reported to be critical.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gaurav Kumar stated that the police received information about a woman and her children found unconscious inside their home. Upon arrival, the police team discovered the mother and her three children in a serious state. They were promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where one child was declared dead. The mother and the other two children were referred to the sadar hospital for advanced treatment.

Authorities suspect that this tragic event may be linked to a family dispute. The DSP confirmed that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
