Tragic Incident in Bengaluru: Woman Dies from Electric Shock, Family Suspects Foul Play
Shocking Incident in Bengaluru
A heartbreaking incident has emerged from the Gaudahalli area of Bengaluru, where a 30-year-old woman tragically lost her life due to an electric shock while using a washing machine. Initially appearing as an accident, the situation is now evolving into a suspicious murder case, as the deceased's parents have accused their son-in-law of plotting their daughter's death.
The victim has been identified as Sujata, aged 30, the fourth daughter of Pandurangaiah and Bhagymma from Tumkur. Sujata married Chetan, a real estate businessman in Bengaluru, ten years ago. Reports indicate that around 7:30 AM on Monday, while Sujata was doing laundry, she received a severe electric shock. She was rushed to VP Magnus Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Marital Disputes Raise Suspicion
Sujata's parents assert that this incident was not merely a technical malfunction but rather a premeditated murder. Their suspicions are backed by substantial reasons, as Sujata and Chetan had been embroiled in disputes for some time. Family members claim that Chetan subjected her to both mental and physical abuse. Frustrated by her husband's mistreatment, Sujata had returned to her parental home a month prior. Just a week ago, Chetan and his mother persuaded her to return to Gaudahalli. Tragically, just eight days after her return, Sujata died under suspicious circumstances, intensifying her family's concerns.
Awaiting Police Investigation and Autopsy Results
Upon receiving news of the incident, the police have taken possession of the body and sent it to Victoria Hospital for an autopsy. A case has been registered, and authorities are investigating all aspects of the situation. Officials state that clarity on whether the electric shock was an unfortunate accident or part of a conspiracy will emerge only after the autopsy report and forensic analysis.
