Tragic Incident in Ambedkarnagar: Mother Allegedly Kills Four Children
Shocking Crime in Uttar Pradesh
A horrifying incident has emerged from Ambedkarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, where a mother is accused of murdering her four children. The shocking motive behind this tragedy is linked to her husband's second marriage to a Pakistani woman in Saudi Arabia, which led him to abandon his first family for four years.
The mother, who was living with her children in their home in Akbarpur, allegedly committed the act on Saturday afternoon before fleeing the scene. When police arrived, they found the house locked. They gained entry through the first floor and discovered the bodies of the four children inside.
According to SP Prachi Singh, the mother had been in conflict with her husband since his second marriage, which likely contributed to her actions. An FIR has been filed against her.
The mother, Gasiya Khatoon, resided with her children: Shafiq, Saud, Umar, and her daughter, Sadiya, in a house built by her husband Niyaz, who has been working in Saudi Arabia.
Concerned about not hearing from the children, Niyaz contacted his sister-in-law, who then alerted the police. When officers arrived at around 3 PM, they found the house locked.
Police accessed the home via the balcony and discovered the children's bloodied bodies on a bed. Forensic teams were called to investigate the scene, where they also recovered a mobile phone.
SP Prachi Singh reported that blood splatters were found on the walls and bed, indicating a violent struggle. There are suspicions that the children may have been poisoned before the attack, which involved blunt force trauma to their heads.
Questions are arising regarding the circumstances of the crime, including the whereabouts of any leftover food and how the mother managed to escape.
The police have detained relatives from Gasiya's side for questioning. Gasiya's family is reportedly in shock over the incident.
Niyaz, who is related to Gasiya through marriage, expressed disbelief over his wife's actions, describing her as straightforward.
Forensic teams collected samples from the scene, including blood and broken bangles found near the balcony, which is believed to be the escape route for Gasiya.
Due to the narrow access road to the crime scene, the bodies had to be transported using a police vehicle to reach an ambulance.
Gasiya's sister-in-law was devastated upon learning of the incident, struggling to comprehend the loss of her nephews and niece. The children's grandmother is also in deep distress, receiving support from relatives and villagers.
An FIR was filed by Niyaz's brother, Salim, detailing the alleged poisoning and subsequent murder of the children by Gasiya.
