Tragic Fire Near Charminar Claims Eight Lives in Hyderabad

A tragic fire at Gulzar House near Charminar in Hyderabad has led to the deaths of eight individuals, including children. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, prompting immediate rescue efforts. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed condolences and directed officials to ensure the safety of those trapped. Initial reports indicate that around 20 people were hospitalized due to smoke inhalation and injuries. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy confirmed the fatalities, while the Chief Minister's Office has emphasized the need for prompt medical attention for the injured. This incident has raised concerns about safety measures in crowded areas.
 

Devastating Fire Incident

A severe fire broke out early Sunday morning at Gulzar House, located near the historic Charminar in Hyderabad, resulting in the tragic deaths of eight individuals. According to a senior official from a private hospital, the victims were brought in deceased.


Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed his condolences regarding the incident and instructed senior officials to take all necessary measures to rescue those trapped inside the building.


An official from the fire department reported that the fire was first reported around 6:30 AM, prompting firefighters to rush to the scene. Many individuals were found unconscious and were subsequently admitted to local hospitals.


After visiting the site, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy informed reporters that the police confirmed the death of eight people in the fire, although official verification will come from the relevant authorities. He noted that among the deceased were some children.


A legislator from the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen present at the scene mentioned that initial reports indicated approximately 20 individuals had been hospitalized.


An official statement from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) emphasized the need for immediate transportation of the injured to hospitals and ensuring they receive proper medical care.
